COACHES EVALUATIONS

Updated coaches evaluation sheets are available at the left hand side panel under coaches corner. We encourage everyone to fill one out for all the coaching staff and both positive and contructive feedback would be appreciated. Please hand the sheets in to your manager or you may put them in the white box at the arena marked "coach convenor".

GIRLS COACHING APPLICATIONS

MBDAA is now accepting coaching applications for all girls competitive and local league teams for the 2010-11 season. All interested applicants are invited to fill out the coaching application located in the coaches corner section of the website, sign it  and place in a sealed envelope marked Attention: Coaching Convenor. The completed application can either be dropped off in the white box located in the arena lobby of mailed to:

YEAR END BANQUET & DANCE

MBDAA Year End Banquet and Dance will be March 27, 2010 at the Mt.Brydges Community Centre. Please contact your manager for tickets and more info. Banquet seating coming soon.

COUGARS CHALLENGE TOURNAMENT

A BIG Thank-you to all that participated and volunteered your time for the Cougars Challenge Tournament!! It was a great succeess with our Mt.Brydges Atom AE team winning the Silver medal!

MBDAA has endorsed the following policies to deal with the H1N1 swine flu outbreak...

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY:

Players WILL NOT remove their gloves to shake hands with the other team before a game. Gloves must remain on and the players will only tap gloves.
ALL PLAYERS are to use individual water bottles.
Coaches and referees WILL NOT shake hands before the game. Instead a courteous hello and a wave will be used.
Trainers will ensure that all of the water bottles are properly cleaned and marked for individual use.

Bingo Update ...

The following Bingo's have been scheduled for the Forest City Bingo Hall at 1106 Dearness Dr. in London (near White Oaks Malls and the intersection of Bradley and Dearness Drive). Here are the dates that are available for our association:

  • Tuesday March 2, 2010
  • Sunday April 25, 2010
  • Monday May 3, 2010
  • Tuesday June 22, 2010
  • Saturday August 14, 2010
  • Monday Sept 6, 2010

Regular Bingos: Arrive 5:00-5:15pm, finished @ approx. 10:00 pm  
Late Bingos: Arrive 9:00pm, finished @ approx. 1:00 am

Bingo volunteers receive a $25.00 credit that is used towards the next hockey registration for each bingo that is worked.  Anyone currently on the list of Bingo helpers, please contact Donna (472-4034) by phone or by email to be included on the list for the above dates.
